I hope you are enjoying your summer so far. Whether you are traveling, spending time outdoors or simply savoring quiet moments at home.
I wanted to remind you that Capital Conservative Women is on a summer break during the months of July and August and we will resume our meetings in September. More information will be sent out in August on our speaker, location and day the speaker will visit us.
I wanted to let everyone know that we lost one of our dear members this past Tuesday on July 21st. Her name is Bonnie Williams. Bonnie was a great patriot who ran the American River Republican Women for years. With her leadership, her club did many charitable projects for the community and supported many candidates for local and national elections. She will have a celebration of life at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved carnations and her favorite colors were red, white, blue and pink. The celebration will be on Saturday, August 8th at 10:30 am. The location is 5439 Main Avenue, Orangevale, CA 95662.
