This was a major upset\, and the Democrats have been trying to take back District 7 ever since. \nHoover previously served as a Trustee on the Folsom Cordova School District Board.  There he took a leadership role in reopening schools as COVID was subsiding. Throughout his time in the State Legislature\, Josh has put families first through his work to reform education\, provide school choice\, keep our neighborhoods safe\, and make California more affordable. \nThe Assemblyman will provide our guests with the latest news on the activities under the dome\, including the status of the State budget and pending audits of State Programs. Prior to being elected to the Legislature\, Tangipa worked in real estate and with Fresno County. \nAssemblyman Tangipa is a proud first-generation American and son of a veteran. He was born and raised in Sacramento and has lived his entire adult life in Fresno.
