Town Hall Meeting with Rep. Kevin Kiley

Representative Kevin Kiley is running for re-election in a new district, thanks to Gov. Newsom’s gerrymandering efforts. Kiley will face former State Senator Richard Pan.

First elected in 2022, Congressman Kevin Kiley proudly serves the people of California’s 3rd District. He is dedicated to using his position to promote fiscally sound policies to reduce inflation, increase choice in education, and responsibly manage our public lands to preserve our beautiful forests and prevent catastrophic wildfires.

The son of a special education teacher, Kevin grew up in the district, attended local public schools and graduated from Granite Bay High School. After college, he began his career as a 10th-grade English teacher at Manual Arts High School in inner-city Los Angeles, where he chaired the English Department, leading his students to significant academic gains and founding an award-winning speech and debate team. After graduating from law school, Kevin helped prosecute the civil case against China’s Huawei Technologies for intellectual property theft and defended the Constitution in California courts. Later, Kevin became a prosecutor and represented the people of California against violent felons as Deputy Attorney General.

Kiley has supported over 25 projects worth over $70 million in federal grants to reduce traffic congestion, improve public safety, expand access to water resources, and protect our communities from fire. Since Kiley was sworn in, the Third Congressional District has received over $300 million in federal grants. Beyond his support for programs and grants to benefit the district, Kiley has made constituent services a priority. Kevin and his team have closed over 5,300 constituent cases, each one representing a family or individual who needed help with a federal agency, and have returned over $20 million to those constituents.

Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard, a law degree from Yale, and a master’s in secondary education from Loyola Marymount. Kevin and his wife, Chelsee, reside in Rocklin.
