About Joshua Hoover
Assemblyman Joshua Hoover was first elected to the California Assembly in 2022 after defeating incumbent Democrat Ken Cooley. This was a major upset, and the Democrats have been trying to take back District 7 ever since.
Hoover previously served as a Trustee on the Folsom Cordova School District Board. There he took a leadership role in reopening schools as COVID was subsiding. Throughout his time in the State Legislature, Josh has put families first through his work to reform education, provide school choice, keep our neighborhoods safe, and make California more affordable.
The Assemblyman will provide our guests with the latest news on the activities under the dome, including the status of the State budget and pending audits of State Programs. He will also provide an update on the June Election.
Haven’t voted yet? Ballots are in the mail starting May 4, so if you haven’t cast your vote by the time of this meeting, Sacramento County voters can bring their ballot in the pink envelope to the event and our experienced ballot collectors will hand-deliver your ballot to the Sacramento County Elections Office. Be sure to track your ballot!

Lunch and Speaker starts at Noon
$40 per person (make your lunch selection when you register) or $15 to attend the event without a meal.
